"I am involved in Youth MOVE because I have seen how unheard youth voices have gone in our community. I've seen friends not be listened to by adults of varying authority levels when the discussion is issues affecting youth, and I myself as an older youth still am left out of conversations I should be involved in. Seeing the work Youth MOVE does to help empower youth to have a voice at the table, and giving youth the confidence to know they should be heard and their opinion is valuable, is why I am involved."
